Are You Productive? is a web-based productivity assessment platform designed for individuals who suspect they are not being productive but want quantified confirmation. The tool asks one question and provides a score that decreases with each use, reflecting the observable reality of human productivity over time.
The assessment uses a proprietary scoring model that accounts for the paradox inherent in productivity self-reporting: people who are genuinely productive do not stop to assess whether they are productive. Therefore, by opening this tool, you have already provided the most meaningful data point.
Answering "yes" results in a score reduction for claiming productivity while not being productive enough to skip a productivity quiz. Answering "no" results in a smaller reduction for honesty. Both paths lead downward. This mirrors the structure of most modern workplaces.
Scores range from 72 (initial visit) to a theoretical minimum of 2. A score of 2 indicates someone who has taken the quiz many times, which tells us everything we need to know.
No score can be improved. Scores can only be maintained temporarily or reduced. This, again, mirrors most modern workplaces.
Are You Productive? is not available for corporate licensing. Any resemblance to actual enterprise software is coincidental and mildly concerning.
